11 Excellent Things God has Brought out of my MCS

I’m back (I think)!  I may have to quit blogging again when we actually move, but in the meantime, I have too much to say.  🙂   (Yes, I’m one of those bloggers who will never run out of things to say….)

So, eleven excellent things God has brought out of my Multiple Chemical Sensitivity are:

  1. a closer relationship with my husband
  2. closer relationships between my husband and our kids
  3. less fear
  4. perseverance
  5. compassion
  6. time to write children’s books 20 years sooner than I thought I would write them
  7. opportunity to develop relationships with relatives and new friends in South Dakota and new MCS friends online
  8. beauty in nature from relocating to the Black Hills
  9. adventures
  10.  perspective on life
  11.  greater dependence on God

What good things has God brought out of the trouble in your life?

About Christa Upton

I am a wife and mother of three children ages 11, 14, and 18. I used to be a stay-at-home mom (teaching piano & dance, volunteering, etc). From 2007 to 2010, I suffered accidental Toxic Injury (also called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity or MCS). MCS has had major impact on our family, but the forced time in bed has given me time to write. So far, I have published 4 children's books (2 in e-book format on Kindle, one in Print-on-Demand at CreateSpace, and one printed by a local printer). Sometimes I miss my old life, but I love writing for children!
